On January 19, 2026, the Alpha Tau chapter, alongside members of the Omega Prep Knights, proudly participated in the Annual Martin Luther King Jr. March in Tuscaloosa, joining community members in honoring Dr. King’s enduring legacy of unity, service, and justice.
Marching through the streets of Tuscaloosa with students, families, civic leaders, and local organizations, members of Alpha Tau and the Omega Prep Knights stood in solidarity around the shared values Dr. King championed of peaceful action, collective responsibility, and service to others. Their presence served as a visible reminder that Dr. King’s vision continues to guide efforts toward equity, understanding, and meaningful change.
For the brothers of Alpha Tau, participation in the march reflected the chapter’s continued commitment to leadership and service within the Tuscaloosa community. The involvement of the Omega Prep Knights further emphasized the importance of instilling civic awareness and purpose in young men, encouraging them to engage thoughtfully in initiatives that strengthen and uplift their communities.
As the march concluded, the message resonated clearly throughout Tuscaloosa. Honoring Dr. King’s legacy requires active participation and a willingness to serve.
