The Rho Gamma, Beta Eta, Alpha Delta Iota, and Alpha Tau Chapters of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. proudly present the annual High School Talent Hunt, a cornerstone initiative designed to inspire, develop, and showcase the artistic abilities of youth within our community.
Since its establishment by Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in 1953, the Talent Hunt Program has served as a vital platform for young performers across the nation to display their skills in a variety of disciplines, including vocal and instrumental music, dance, speech, and visual arts. This signature program continues to uplift and encourage high school students to pursue excellence in the arts while providing opportunities for recognition at both the local and regional levels.
We invite churches, school counselors, music teachers, band directors, and dance instructors to help us identify and encourage talented students from Sumter, Hale, Greene, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa counties to participate in this remarkable program.
The competition is open to students who perform in the following artistic categories:

Interpretive Movement to Music: Ballet, modern dance, or tap.
Speech: Poetry, oration, or monologue.
Visual Arts: Sculpture, photography, drawing, or painting.
First, second, and third-place winners will receive awards, and all participants will be recognized for their talent and effort.
