The Brothers of Alpha Tau continue to invest in the next generation through mentorship, encouragement, and community engagement. Today, Brothers Rodney Pelt, 2ΡΓ’22, and VJ Cleveland, 10AT’22, participated in the monthly House Games activities at Westlawn Middle School, where they had the opportunity to speak with and motivate students.
Westlawn Middle School’s House Games program brings students together through a house system designed to build teamwork, leadership, accountability, and school spirit. Students are assigned to different houses that function as teams throughout the school year, participating in competitions, activities, and motivational sessions that encourage positive behavior and personal growth.
During today’s program, Bro. Rodney Pelt spoke to students in the House of Integrity, encouraging them to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to making positive choices both inside and outside the classroom. Bro. VJ Cleveland shared words of motivation with students in the House of Success, inspiring them to work hard, believe in themselves, and strive for excellence in all they do.
In addition to the motivational messages, students participated in games and friendly competitions between the houses, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement, teamwork, and school pride. The brothers’ involvement helped reinforce the importance of leadership, perseverance, and community support in the lives of young people.
The Brothers of AT are grateful for opportunities like this to connect with students and make a positive impact within our schools and communities. Through mentorship and service, we remain committed to encouraging and uplifting the next generation of leaders.
