The brothers of the Alpha Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. took their commitment to service into the community this past week, participating in two local Trunk or Treat events and helping make the Halloween season a little brighter for area families and young people.
The brothers showed their support at the Trunk or Treat event held at the Hasson Center in Northport, hosted by District 3 City Councilman Woodrow Washington, and at Westlawn Middle School. Both events provided an opportunity to engage with the community, share in the excitement of the season, and create memorable experiences for local children.
From handing out candy to sharing smiles and positive energy, the brothers embraced the opportunity to give back and be present where it matters most. Their participation reflects the chapter’s continued dedication to community involvement and its commitment to making a positive impact beyond the fraternity.
The Alpha Tau Chapter extends a special thank you to all the brothers who volunteered their time, donated resources, and helped make both events successful. Their support is a reminder that service is not simply something we talk about; it is something we demonstrate through our actions.
For the brothers of Alpha Tau, wearing the Purple and Gold means carrying a responsibility to serve, inspire, and uplift others. Through initiatives like these, the chapter continues to put Omega Psi Phi’s Cardinal Principle of UPLIFT into action.
