The members of Alpha Delta Iota at the University of West Alabama demonstrated their commitment to service and community impact by hosting a Blood Drive on November 21 as part of their Achievement Week observance. The initiative reflected the chapter’s dedication to promoting health awareness while addressing a critical and ongoing need within the community.
Through intentional planning and outreach, the chapter successfully encouraged participation from students, faculty, and community members. A total of 15 individuals donated blood during the drive, contributing a meaningful supply that will help support local hospitals and patients in need. Each donation represented a tangible act of service, underscoring the importance of collective action in saving lives.
The Blood Drive served as a cornerstone event during Achievement Week, highlighting the chapter’s focus on leadership, service, and academic excellence. By organizing an event with real and lasting impact, Alpha Delta Iota reinforced its role as a positive force on campus and reaffirmed its commitment to service that extends beyond the university and into the broader community.
