On November 29, the Alpha Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. dedicated the day to purposeful service throughout the Tuscaloosa community, reflecting the fraternity’s enduring commitment to uplift.
The morning began with strong support for the Tuscaloosa Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. during their Red to Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. Brothers gathered to honor survivors, remember those we have lost, and raise awareness for a cause that continues to affect families across the nation. The event drew a spirited crowd, and Alpha Tau was proud to stand alongside community partners working to advance breast cancer education and advocacy.
Service continued at the West Alabama Community Soup Bowl, where brothers joined the young men of Omega Prep Knights to provide hot meals to individuals in underserved areas of Tuscaloosa. Standing shoulder to shoulder with their mentees, brothers demonstrated leadership, compassion, and active commitment to those who rely on this vital service.
The day exemplified the very best of Omega: purpose-driven action, collaboration, and unwavering devotion to community. Alpha Tau remains grateful for every opportunity to serve and for the partnerships that allow the chapter to deepen its impact.
The chapter looks forward to continuing its efforts to uplift and empower Tuscaloosa—one act of service at a time.
